Hi,

I realise this is not really an amavis issue, but I thought someone on
this list might have fought the battle with amavis-stats and rhel4
already.

Has anyone gotten amavis-stats.0.1.21 to run on a RHEL4, and if so, could
you tell me how.

My other option is to use awstats. Does anyone on this list use awstats
for spam statistics?

I have used amavis-stats on older systems, and it worked very well. Now I
have a job to migrate everything to RHEL4 and seem to have no end of
trouble with that program. The problem seesm to lie with gd and php. I am
not sure I understand it correctly, but amavis-stats complains about gd
not being included in the php code. The spec file for php, that comes with
the source says '--with-gd=shared'.

I have been trying to rebuild the rpm with '--with-gd' (i.e. without the
shared, so far unsuccessfully). But maybe I am on the wrong track to begin
with?

If anyone can help, I would appreciate it very much indeed.

Thanks a lot,

.peter
