Look, I sent an email just a minute ago:
The header says:
X-SMTP-Auth: no

and I have this log entry when i sent the message:

Dec 18 14:03:41 pc009 postfix/smtpd[29043]: DF2BE324825:
client=unknown[192.168.1.117], sasl_method=CRAM-MD5,
sasl_username=andres

So, it is being authenticated by SASL. What could possible be
happening? I fully understand you and your solution. (Do you need more
detailed log?)

I am lost as you now... I understand that this has to work.

Sorry, It was disabled because of some testing at the time I ran
postconf to show my config.
