I don't like words 'forever' and 'infinity'. They are related to death 
for me, at least the death of computer system. Shouldn't some aging 
mechanism be built into awl code? Where should I ask, on SA list?

Well, I can see botnet activity targeted at our mail domain. Many 
similar if not identical spams from hundreds different IP addresses all 
around the world. This activity started around August or September and 
is getting worse... The sum of all received mails doubled between June 
and October and the majority is junk.
