The license situation for this product has been interesting.

  APPLICATION SOFTWARE.  You  may  install  and  use  one  copy  of  the
  BitDefender,  or any prior version for the same operating system, on a
  single computer terminal. The primary user of the  computer  on  which
  the  BitDefender  is  installed  may make one additional (i.e. second)
  copy for his or her exclusive use on a portable computer.

I used to think it was free, then one day a link to the product page
stated explicitly that this product was for workstations and could not
be used on a server. Now that I look again, all references to that
statement have been removed. In fact there is no longer a specific
page for the 'BitDefender Linux Edition' product leading me to believe
that the BitDefender people are not restricting its use to workstations.
The only question I have is this - does the term 'computer terminal'
exclude or include a server? We may never know.
