Nothing. Even starting it as /usr/local/sbin/amavisd it just sits there
and does not detach, nor does it say anything.
When I start it as /usr/local/sbin/amavisd debug, I get the debug output
on the terminal, but no error messages regarding to logging -and no
messages in any of the two logfiles. Even worse : As soon as I enable
DO_SYSLOG=1 in the conf file, amavisd does not even stop any more on a
service stop or restart and cann only be killed manually. No chroot
environment; i.e. the installation was without CHROOT before the
upgrade. Could this have to do with a newer syslog module ? or syslog
settings ?
