that mean. I suppose that amavisd-new is blocking such emails due to in
my configuration file "/etc/amavis/conf.d/20-debian_defaults" I found
the line "" "qr'^\.(exe-ms)$', # banned file(1) types" inside the
"$banned_filename_re = new_RE(" definition. I will appreciate any help.
Yes, this is the line that is blocking the exe-ms file types.
Your options are either to remove this rule, or perhaps
placing it _after_ some other rule that allows exceptions,
like allowing anything within a zip - if you dare.
Better choice is to tell the sender he should encrypt or scramble
attachments that contain MS executables or shared libraries.
