Bill, These entries are continuation lines. They must be joined with previous lines with the same amavis PID / instance. amavis cuts syslog lines to be below 1023 bytes include a prefix for max length of 980 chars. my($logline_size) = 980; # less than (1023 - prefix) I suppose this is a compatibility issue for systems whose syslog handles < 1k bytes.
