Are you trying to run Spamassassin 3.2.0 under amavisd-new 2.4.4?  I
believe there were a number of modules that have to be pre-loaded in
the /usr/sbin/amavisd program for this to work properly.  That was one
of the main drivers for 2.5

There was a lot of discussion in the newsgroup about loading particular
modules.  Maybe two months ago.  If you don't want to upgrade
amavisd-new to 2.5, then you should go back and scour the archives.
