It turns out that postfix 2.4.4 supports DSN (2.2.x did not), adding the
following to main.cf disabled DSN and stopped the notifications:

smtpd_discard_ehlo_keywords =   silent-discard, dsn

I view this as a short term solution since all the documentation I can
find states that our version of amavis and our version of postfix both
support DSN. Is there something we need to set in amavisd.conf to
enable DSN? We'd upgrade to the latest amavis to see if this issue is
fixed but we're running into memory issues when we do (see amavis-user
list subjects "Amavis-new memory usage" and "memory leak problem in
version, amavisd-new-2.4.3 (20060930)")

Thanks for any additional insight. -- Joel
