It is beta alright. I'm using 5.1 for Bayes and AWL in production for a couple of subversions now without a hitch, but have not tried it for amavisd logging, and neither have tried its partitioning feature yet (I'm using PostgreSQL 8.2 for amavisd log / pen pals).
