That license stated:
APPLICATION SOFTWARE. You may install and use one copy of the
BitDefender, or any prior version for
the same operating system, on a single computer terminal. The primary
user of the computer on which the
BitDefender is installed may make one additional (i.e. second) copy
for his or her exclusive use on a
portable computer.

Which was rather ambiguous (what exactly is a 'terminal'?). It looks
like the folks at BitDefender realized it was not worded well, and
therefore with subsequent releases they clarifed it.
