I do respond thank you.. I just haven't updated the plugin. =] I guess
you don't follow the SM-Plugins mailing list or use the email I
published in the Readme?

If I missed something here I'm sorry about that... I've been following
this discussion but had nothing to add until now. I got an email from a
guy named Alex Schuilenburg back in october about a bunch of changes he
made to it... and he gave me a little preview. I liked the changes and
he was going to send them to me for a new release.. but he never did.
I'll try to follow up with him again and see if he's still willing to
give me his changes.

If you like.. I could then forward those on to you and you can apply
your changes to that? I'll include a copy of the email I got from him
so you can see for yourself.

BTW.. I've not updated the plugin because I haven't been doing admin
work for over two years. In the last few months I've gotten more email
about this plugin than in the previous 3+ years. I'm not sure why the
sudden interest again (I thought it was pretty well dead) but if the
interest is there.. I'm willing to spend some time on it. Otherwise you
can ask for a refund. =]

Here is what I got from Alex:

I have made quite a major update to amavisnewsql, much of which are
improvements IMHO. For example:

    * as amavisd-new is able to put quarantined email directly into
email, the utility scripts process_bsmtp and cleanquarantine are
      no longer needed
    * you can sort the display of quarantined message by any column in
      ascending or descending order
    * additional use of colours to display mail quarantined for
different reasons (virus, bad mime, bad header, bad file)
    * improved spamassassin configuration, mainly due to changes with
the amavisd-new database, but also additional help and more
options for power users (still keeping things simple for non-power
      users)

I am quite happy to contribute these changes back and make them
available for others to use.

Thanks,
Jared
