Just wondering how that works... does it simply do one at a time?

Can it do several at once, or if it does it in batches, how many in a batch?

As i had a network issue that stopped mail reaching my primary, all mail
went to secondary mx, thats ok, but when the problem went away and all
mail got to primary( where amavis is) it takes a while to be delivered?
there was only 265 emails but it took 22 mins to have them all
delivered?? is this normal?

This server does nothing but MX, and is a dual core AMD with 4 gigs of
ram on 64bit debian etch

Any suggestions?

thanks...
