many thanks for all the help, and, 'detailed details' in the other post

I've reinstalled File::Temp from the CPAN tool.

BUT, that wasn't the end of it....

I've re-engaged amavis, only to see qshape now growing rapidly (around
22:00):

I then disengaged amavis again, run around my cage like a headless chook
for a little while, I then wen back to cpan and, attempted to reinstall
all the modules that I (think) I know amavis wants;

quite a few of them went through download/install;

I then repeated all, this time, all reported good;

so, I reengaged amavis, and, it seems good since.

I then noticed my clam seems to have dissapeared....
also, cacti is
seems my server might have been interfeered with ?
rkhunter says it's OK
