Ah, looks like a SASL problem. Amazing what treasure you can find in the log... Try adding -o smtpd_sasl_auth_enable=no to the 10025 master.cf entry. And you also might try setting the "chroot" column in the master.cf entry to "n". If you need more help, continue this on the postfix-users list.
