I would like to configure the three MX hosts for my domain to send spam (or viruses) to a single MySQL quarantine database, so I can examine everything via just one instance of MailZu (instead of having to set up a separate quarantine on each MX host, with a separate MailZu instance for each).
I'm concerned, however, with what might happen if my primary mail server (which also runs the MySQL database) were to go down. If spam arrived on a secondary MX host while the primary host was down, amavisd-new would not be able to save it in the quarantine. Is there any way in such a situation to make amavisd-new queue any spam for later delivery to the quarantine once the database comes back up? -- Rich Wales === Palo Alto, CA, USA === [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.richw.org === http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Richwales ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ AMaViS-user mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/amavis-user AMaViS-FAQ:http://www.amavis.org/amavis-faq.php3 AMaViS-HowTos:http://www.amavis.org/howto/
