Mark,

I have the most available version according to my package manager:

amavisd-new:
  Installed: 1:2.4.2-6.1
  Candidate: 1:2.4.2-6.1
  Version table:
 *** 1:2.4.2-6.1 0
        500 http://ftp.us.debian.org etch/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

I do see however their site is up to 2.6.1. How long until the
versions flow down to Debian?

Should I change any settings in my amavisd config to avoid any
performance issues if this is even causing?
