No clamd socket.
Either clamd isn't running, or it has its socket somewhere else.

clamscan is taking a long time to respond.

Actually in this case I see it was aborted after just 10 seconds,
which is the lower bound on timeouts in this part of code.
What is your setting of $child_timeout ?  Seems that most of its
allowed time was already spent in processing prior to clamscan
invocation.

If you think your $child_timeout is long enough (few minutes)
and there should have been more than 10 seconds left at that point,
turn up log to level 5 and search for "prolong_timer" in the log.
There might have been a prior problem causing a timer reset to 0.
If this was the case, it should be investigated.
