Yes, its a problem,  but we typically reject hundreds of thousands of 
backscatter daily.  one of our clients who usually got 50,000 spams a 
month, got 5mm backscatter a month for two months (because of other 
people who had misconfigured systems that bounced forced spam back)

If over 90% of all email is spam, and 90% of all spam is forged from 
addresses, you do the math.

set it to six (ish), tell your clients that if they are looking for an 
email from someone they should check the reject logs or quarantine.The 
listing will expire automatically and free of charge 4 weeks after the
