Can't say for sure, the "Lock table is out of available locker entries"
could be a genuine reason for a failure, in which case increasing the
table would help.

I'm running db47 on our FreeBSD mailer (db47-4.7.25.4, the latest 4.7 from
ports). The 4.7 series (various minor versions) worked without a glitch
for me.
