It depends on your company policy, there are companies replacing
servers every 3-4 years, and there are companies
run servers till they die ;-)
The OP ran Centos 5 for 'over 10 years'. Sounds like they are one to
stay on something that works for the long haul. That is no longer
Centos 6. We see its EOL.
