Still doesn't work for me.

When I ran it with the same settings as the DBI:mysql it did at least fire up 
but just didn't work afterwards with the 
child processes dying as they were called to do an SQL lookup.

I just realized the first difference between the two modules. With the upper 
host/port combination I get

> Connection error: port cannot be specified when host is localhost or 
> embedded
Remove the ";port=3306" part if you actually use localhost.
