Not sure, but it sounds like another case of [1]. The quickest workaround would be to use `DBI::MariaDB` instead of `DBI::mysql` in @lookup_sql_dsn. However it seems that perl-DBD-MariaDB is not shipped with AlmaLinux 8. You could try [2] instead.
