Thanks for the instructions - just want I was looking for moving forward.
However, we are running into a problem with starting the Hue server, error in
starting Beewax server. Any suggestions, we are ok to not starting beewax
server for now - work around is also helpful.
Thanks.

I was able to follow these directions
http://docs.hortonworks.com/HDPDocuments/HDP1/HDP-1.3.2/bk_installing_manually_book/content/rpm-chap-hue.html
and for one piece of the document do the following:
“
I hit this issue as well, turned out to be a typo in the HortonWorks
instructions.
<name>mapred.jobtracker.plugins</name>
<value>org.apache.hadoop.thriftfs.ThriftJobTrackerPlugin</value>
Should be:
<name>mapreduce.jobtracker.plugins</name>
<value>org.apache.hadoop.thriftfs.ThriftJobTrackerPlugin</value>
“

Where can I find instructions/recommendations to install Hue on an Ambari
managed cluster?
Thanks,
