well they've kept this quite quiet, but here's some info i received the
other day...

digital relations

The Scottish Arts Council (SAC) will be running five networking sessions
between August and December for creative professionals who use digital
and time-based processes in their work.

These will be informal show and tell events, with short slots for
everyone to show examples of ongoing work. The reason for the sessions
is to bring practitioners together to see collective snapshots of whats
going on in the new media sector, and pool opinion and experience.

The SAC aims to support a broad range of practice, including visual arts
and theatre, performance, crafts, games and web design, software design
and engineering. Professionals involved in digital art and design
research, small digital businesses, freelance artists, makers and
performers, and theatre professionals are welcome.
