File sound art sound art on audio cd call for submissions
In conjunction with the Mead gallery, Warwick Arts Centre, File is producing an audio cd of soundwork reflecting facets of urban experience. The project relates to the Pheonix project, regeneration of Coventry's city centre. File are accepting initial submissions on cd. All types of soundwork welcome: spoken word, field recordings, music, disco, kareoke etc... Participants will recieve cd's [at least]. The works will be premiered at the Mead Gallery on Jan 17th 03 as part of the Susanna Heron opening. Cds will be distributed nationally.
