The Scottish Sculpture Workshop is participating in the 'P�pini�res europ�ennes pour jeunes artistes' programme. We are involved both in promoting and nominating young artists, and we will also be hosting a residency during 2003. We have been asked to circulate a call for submissions for a young artist working in digital media as a matter of urgency. Further opportunities in the 'P�pini�res' programme in other parts of Europe will be distributed in the near future. If you are a young artist (18-25) working in digital media, or you know of a young artist of that description, who would be interested in this opportunity, please make your submission in relation to the attached documents (General description of programme <brochure ace 4 and.doc>, project description <fiche aix ang.doc> and application form <fiche inscription ace FR-ANG.doc>). Submissions must be received at the 'P�pini�res' offices (address below) by 29 December 2002 Location of residency: Ecole sup�rieure d'art d'Aix-en-Provence, France Duration of residency: From February 2003 until July 2003 Description: The artist will take part in the research and creation workshops of his choice. These are multimedia workshops. Electronic arts are also very present in the school. The artist will be more particularly involved in the art and territory unit. Finally the artist will set up an exhibition which will take place in the school gallery and in the city area in relation with the community life.
