Interventions Workshops Folly are offering 2 weeks of creative activity based in The Kitchen new media lab using Linux and Applemac.
2 separate weeks of activity are planned for the weeks beginning 11th August - and 18th August. Week 1 - -exploring content / generative software / audio / video interfaces Week 2 - code / programming / activism / networks Visiting artists will be leading workshops during the day, with presentations and discussion taking place during the evening. Folly has offered special places to a number of Lancashire and Cumbria based artists, whilst there are still places available to others from outside the region, discounts on participation may still be available. This is a great opportunity for you to work alongside and share ideas with new media artists of all abilities and experiences in this field, from beginners in new media to established artists and teachers. Don't miss this wonderful chance for collaboration with other artists as well as developing and exploring your own creativity through different new media systems. Full week �50 including evening meal. Day attendance �15 each day. All evening presentations take place from around 7.30pm and are free.
