NIFCA MEDIA AiR 2004

NIFCA MEDIA AiR 2004 is a residency programmme
for media artists. The programmme provides
possibilities for artists to develop diverse
media art projects. Each residency is realised in
collaboration with a local organisation with
expertise in certain areas of media art. The
organisations provide technical facilities for
the artist and provide support through local
contacts and know-how.

The deadline for applications is 30 September
2003.

Residencies in the Nordic-Baltic region:

Estonia: Tallinn - E-Media Centre + Artists'
Union
Finland: Helsinki - Sibelius Academy CM&T /
Piknik Frequency + NIFCA
Latvia: Riga - RIXC + Artists' Union
Norway: Bergen - BEK + Hordaland Kunstsenter
Sweden: Stockholm - Splintermind + Studio House
Malongen
Russia: St. Petersburg - PRO ARTE Institute

Residency exchange countries:

Canada: Montreal - SAT
United Kingdom: Huddersfield - The Media Centre
Hungary: Budapest &#8211; C�

All the residencies include:

- Free accommodation
- Studio or access to work space
- A monthly grant of 840 EURO
- Various opportunities for getting involved in
local activities
