Friday 12th September 7.30pm �5.00 Aberfeldy Media Centre, Locus Building, The Square Who owns Jack Kerouac
The story of the Kerouac Estate Controversy, the battle waged by Jan Kerouac and Gerald Nicosia to seize control of her father's multi million dollar archives from the Sampas family of Lowell, Massachusetts. In the fight, Jan Kerouac, Jack's abandoned daughter, was destroyed.
Director Jack Shea will introduce and answer questions about his feature length movie.
Followed by wine and nibbles.
Saturday 13th September 11.00-5.00pm Media Access in the Digital Age �5.00 Aberfeldy Media Centre, Locus Building, The Square The new Communications Act recognises the valuable role of community media. So Saturday will be filled with celebratory screenings and presentations which take forward developments in access and small-scale TV in Scotland and across the UK.
Sunday 14th September 11.00-1.00 then 2.00-5.00pm and 5.00-6.00pm �7.50 Aberfeldy Media Centre, Locus Building, The Square Slam Dunk An ad hoc crew of 'Bigger Picture' participants will rehearse before filming - for Aberfeldy's 'e-tv' channel - the afternoon's Poetry Slam in Aberfeldy Town Hall (free admission to the Slam, but then you've got to work for it!).
