FUNDING AWARD: Archive Live Digital Production Scheme From: caitie.faulds*at*scottishscreen.com
Archive Live is a new scheme to promote the creative use of materials held in
the Scottish Screen Archive. With widespread access to computers and the
World Wide Web, we now have an opportunity to deliver moving image history
directly to users in their homes, schools and offices. Archive Live is
designed to encourages those who work with digital media to explore
experimental and interactive creations using Archive materials and new
digital technologies.
Archive Live is open to new media talent at all levels including:
Companies - web design, film & television, games and program development teams.
Individuals - web designers, film & video makers, games developers, and artists.
We are looking for imaginative and innovative ideas but the format is up to you. It could be a game, educational materials, perhaps even a digital art installation. However, we want as many people as possible to be able to benefit from your ideas, so your work must be suitable for on-line delivery. Proposals which have multiple or cross-platform distribution potential are also welcome.

Short-listed applicants will have access to the Scottish Screen Archive for
three months to enable them to properly develop their proposal, and some
indication of how you would use this time should be included with your
application. Projects selected for full awards must be delivered within six
months of the date of award, and all material will be deliverable on-line via
the Scottish Screen web site.
