New-Media Designer The Department of Visual Communication seeks a full-time faculty member with expertise in web- or video-based communication design and/or interactive media. Core curricular topics include theories, strategies and methodologies of interaction, navigation, interpretation, content configuration and digital production. Related competencies might include typographic structure and expression; hybrid environments; planning and production of motion graphics for television and film; research and development of cultural and environmental issues; and/or contemporary visual cultural criticism. The successful candidate will play a lead role in the coordination and continued development of the new media track in Visual Communication.
