- DOUGLAS IRVING REPETTO by himself
Initiator of dorkbot.org and dorkbot new york; artist, teacher
and plant man; builder of miniatures, sculptor of sound, tactile writer
and father of minds.
His work, including installations, performances, recordings, software,
and lectures, has been presented internationally. He runs a number
of arts/community-oriented groups in New York City and on the web,
including dorkbot, ArtBots: The Robot Talent Show, organism: making
art with living systems, and the music-dsp mailing list and website.
He works at the Columbia University Computer Music Center.

Kapotski normally combines the analog & digital abuse, (re)appropriating
electronic and other machines, toys, surroundings, instruments, iron,
contactsound, scrap, coolers, mixers,... with less kapotski mixing desks,
cables, effects with kapotski as result.
Now kapotski releases a beta of kabeatski, a computer setup
which uses midi to synchronise sequencers, effects & realtime sampling.

- DRAWBOT by Frederik De Bleser and Tom De Smedt
Two last-year design students who happen to have a degree in programming.
Both gents share an interest in visual communication and meta-thinking -
"DrawBot" is a reflection of that interest: a design tool where braindead
dragging and clicking is replaced by formal language.
DrawBot is an open-source project that allows you to write Python scripts
that generate two-dimensional graphics. It targets an audience of designers,
with a simple set of commands that is both intuitive and creative. Some of
the more exotic features in DrawBot include auto text generation, auto image
downloading, and XML-support. DrawBot is an environment for fun and
experiment, but at the same time a production tool as well, with a wide
variety of input possibilities and PDF output.
