I'm looking for online research
sites/material/papers which tackle issues surrounding pedagogical environments
in new media art in fine arts institutions.
Geert Lovink has a chapter New Media Art
Education in his book 'My First Recession' but it really just touches the
tip of the iceberg. I am looking into Minna Tarkka, mentioned in Lovink's book
at the moment to see what comes up..
I don't seem to be able to find very much which
considers approaches to teaching BOTH arts practice and theory with
regard to teaching new media art ... I can find 'how to's' for
faculty training but thats not what I mean.
If anyone has any thoughts on this subject,
students, artists lectures of new media I'd be interested to hear anything. I'm
interested to hear both sides
