Visual Arts Residency, Summer 2004
Call for submissions
Cove Park will award one three-month residency commencing om 21 June
2004.
Unique accommodation, studio space, a fee of �3,000 and a materials
budget
will be available to the successful applicant.
Cove Park occupies an outstanding 50-acre site overlooking Loch Long
on the
West Coast of Scotland. Its unique residency programme provides artists
working in all disciplines with the time, space and freedom to work on
new
projects.
Application deadline: Monday 3 May 2004
Applicants are required to submit a current CV with 2 professional
references, documentation of work (no more than eight 35mm slides) and
a
statement outlining the reasons for your interest in the residency, the
relevance of your work and your past experience to the project and how
the
opportunity will impact upon your professional development. We would
also
ask you to indicate how you might address working with both a broader
general and specialist public as part of the residency. Please enclose
a
self-addressed envelope, stamped to the relevant value, to ensure that
your
documentation is returned.
