Shadow Lives - sara </x-tad-smaller><x-tad-smaller>BARKER</x-tad-smaller><x-tad-smaller> and tim </x-tad-smaller><x-tad-smaller>FACEY</x-tad-smaller><x-tad-smaller>

Sara BARKER and Tim FACEY are artists living and working in Glasgow.
The couple’s individual sculptural practices will be brought together in the [vsf], where they will work together collaboratively for the first time. They will begin this process as individuals, struggling with overbearing materials independently, gradually allowing one another’s failures to become the work. A precarious balance of competition with compromise will evolve to explore the tension between the physically dominating structures, and reflect on the moments when individual practices begin to communicate. </x-tad-smaller>
<x-tad-smaller>BARKER and FACEY will work together in the space from 9th- 11th, "Shadow Lives" will run from 11th- 15th.
Both BARKER and FACEY are committee members at Market Gallery, Glasgow.</x-tad-smaller> <x-tad-smaller>BARKER co-founded Mary Mary in `March 2004.
