I make short art videos. I think of them as haiku poems. Some have said they are more like limericks.
This year I am on sabbatical from a job as a professor of art at Central Connecticut State University. I convinced the panel that I needed a year off to study how I can better use sound in my videos. I don't want sound to support the visual image but to be an equal strong partner. Field recordings are most interesting to me. I'm looking for places to show my videos and conferences and festivals where I can hang out and learn more about sound.
