Interactive Media Section
Information, Criteria & Rules of Entry
Entries Deadline - Friday 17th September 2004
There is one award in this section, which is open to content from throughout the interactive arena in Scotland. Work across all areas of interactivity will be accepted into competition but the serious emphasis will be on distinctive work that shows originality and innovation within the genre.
Interactive Media Category
For this first year of these new BAFTA Scotland Awards, one award will be made in this section.
Interactive Media Section Criteria- Period of Eligibility
The period of eligibility will take in work completed between 1st January 2003 and 17th September 2004 - the closing date for this year's entries.
Interactive Media Section Criteria - Who are the entrants?
Individuals or creative teams either working alone or within broadcasting organisations, or independent companies. Student work is also welcomed into this category.
Interactive Media Section Criteria - What can be entered?
Entries will be considered from across all visually interactive media areas, including websites; content designed for television and for personal/home use; work designed for educational and for entertainment purposes and work which crosses genres and interactive boundaries; innovative content that is seriously looking at 'the interactive future' of the industry in the fullest sense. It is also desirable that the work entered into competition meets most of the following criteria by being originated /created /designed /written /financed /managed /produced and directed in Scotland.
Interactive Media Section Judging - How it works
A jury of experts and specialists with experience across various areas of interactivity will judge this section.
In all cases the decision of the jury is final.
