The current implementation of the course gadget uses oAuth Signed Requests and
the Friends gadget doesn't use oAuth at all. To provide 2 common examples os
using oAuth (being 2-legged oAuth with preapproved request tokens and 3-legged
oAuth) this gadget should use 3-legged oAuth. See also
