Ivo Ladage - van Doorn updated AMDATUCASSANDRA-42:
--------------------------------------------------
Summary: Add Cassandra implementations of OAuth token store, consumer
store, nonce store and gadget store (was: Add Cassandra implementations of
oAuth token store, consumer store, nonce store and gadget store)
Description:
By default, storage implementations that are shipped with the OAuth and
OpenSocial projects themselves are example stores, not to be used in real-life
applications. OAuth ships with an in-memory OAuth token store, a file-based
OAuth consumer registry store and an in-memory nonce store. In a distributed
cloud application however, these stores cannot be used. OpenSocial currently
does not implement a default store for its gadget store.
For distributed cloud applications, Cassandra storage would be preferred. As
such, we need these storage implementations in the Cassandra release.
was:Currently only an in-memory oAuth token store and a file-based oAuth
consumer registry store are available. Cassandra storage is preferred here,
since it provides a persistent and distributed implementation. Especially the
distributed implementation is required when oAuth is used in a distributed
setup.
