For now, the scope is "Blob Storage". When jclouds starts supporting a form of "Table Storage" we will probably add that as well. So the focus is on providing a couple of APIs for storage and their underlying implementations.
In that context, I can envision that Cassandra could become an implementation (as Bram briefly mentioned). Still I think it makes sense to keep our "Amdatu Cassandra" project separate as it's mostly about adapting Cassandra to our OSGi/Amdatu environment. We could then decide to add adapters to let Cassandra be used as Blob or Table Storage. That part could be part of Amdatu Storage, consuming our Amdatu Cassandra artifacts. Then again, maybe we can create a generic adapter that we can even donate back to the jclouds project.
