Matthijs Hendriks commented on AMDATUOPENSOCIAL-144:
----------------------------------------------------

I have adapted the _themeroller.js_ to apply new themes to the gadgets. This
worked till a certain extent; the themes as used in the themeroller are hosted
on JQueryUI's servers and the links to these themes seem to be 'broken'. As a
fix, I downloaded all themes and included them in the dashboard bundle
(_dashboard/static/css_) and changed this in the dashboard. This way, it also
works in offline/secure environments (and also, the code is clearer). I will do
the same for the preview images, too.

A patch will follow.

I will create a wiki article on how to create new gadgets properly after
shortly.

> It default dashboard provides a theme selector based on themeroller, but when
> switching themes these are not (properly) applied to the amdatu gadgets (eg.
> ps. the default theme is part of the dashboard code while the rest is
> dynamically downloaded form jquery.com. I think this code should also work
> offline / secured environment(?)
