The wink implementation hard codes a /rest path prefix to all JAX-RS endpoints.
As discussed briefly under the guidelines thread at [0] this should not be the
case.
It is ok to use a best practice or convention for common services and
applications, but in no way should the platform enforce arbitrary choices on
things such as a service endpoint.
