amforth has a utility named pd2amforth that creates the device specific driver files. All of the currently delivered controller files (core/devices/*) are generated with that tool. I excpect no problems with that new controller, it should work. Formal support is unlikly, I cannot buy each controller type and test it myself, sorry.
