Yes, thats right. I was not clear in what is difficult to fix, sorry. The information that is used to calculate the free cells comes from the Atmel Part Description files and is extracted with a rather complex perl script. Unfortunatly Atmel changes the XML definitions in these files for every release of the studio so the current XML format does not work with the current perl script.
