I would like to challenge the "reliable source". Does this source
understand the fundamental difference between a Forth system and
a $Language-Compiler?

Code obfuscation is not an exit on GPL*any*version:

<quote>
  1. Source Code.

  The "source code" for a work means the preferred form of the work
for making modifications to it. "Object code" means any non-source
form of a work.
</quote>

Does the "reliable source" understand the obligations from this
paragraph?

It makes me sad to see this discussion still going on. It wastes
precious life time imho.

Cheers,
Erich
