Building amforth is not trivial. There are many files to include and even the ordering of include directories is very sensible. Every change can break the process. BTDT. Why did I do it that way? It gives a huge flexibility to adapt the system to the needs of a particular project. The price to pay is to *closely* follow the rules. Dont get me wrong. Both Erich and I told you to use the default directory layout. You are the one that wants to use some other ordering and run into trouble with it. If you would have used our recommendations, you would not have the troubles you now have. Its a bit annoying that you insist on your setup and demand to troubleshoot it by others. I try my best to make it as easy to use as possible, but at the end of the day the whole amforth is a pet project and I don't offer professional support for it. You're very welcome to critize and demand help. But please follow the ones that offer it and do what they say. I'm pretty sure that your setup could work, but I won't be the one who figures out the details. So please start with the defaults and change them *step by step*, changing only one thing at a time. And wrt docs: I spend more time writing it than do actual coding. Writing docs is much harder, way more time consuming. and makes much less fun.
