I've tried to connect pc's TX to RX, and I have echo then, so I have assumed pc is sending everything.

If so, I would connect to the pc->micro data line, and look to see if the pc is sending anything. If it is not, then I would look at the handshake lines. If the pc is sending characters but the micro is not seeing them, that is a different problem. But first thing, I would look at the signals to see if they are on the serial line at all, and I would be mainly suspicious of the handshake lines.
