If you do not have (and do not define) a ticker column in your import, then the FILENAME becomes the ticker SYMBOL.
So, if your file is $ADVQ.csv it will import into the symbol $ADVQ -- Terry -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Martin Cooney Sent: Wednesday, March 08, 2006 03:10 To: Amibroker General Forum Subject: [amibroker] data import issue Hi, I'm trying to import some historical data. Problem is the data is symbol specific and doesn't contain the ticker symbol inside the data i.e. format is :- <DTYYYYMMDD>,<TIME>,<OPEN>,<HIGH>,<LOW>,<CLOSE>,<VOL> Is there a way to import data so it's only directed to a specific symbol ?
