Thanks for that Graham. However, is that the only way? The files I am using are in various folders because of the way they are saved by the update service, so this method will not work. If not I'll write a program to copy them all into one folder.
Thanks

In the database that I use I load several CSV files using the Import Wizard. Within the Import Wizard, I define the fields and save it. Then the following day I use the Import ASCII… for each file in the database to get the next days data. It is this manual daily updating using Import ASCII… that I would like to avoid. So I'm wondering whether there is a simple way to update all the files in the database in one go with the end-of-day data.

You do not supply much information about where you load the data from. Generally all that is required is to import the number of bars of data not already loaded into the AB database and this can be done with ascii importer form csv text files, or using the amiquote if this is your source.
If you are loading the entire amount from a metastock database then you could just use this with MSplugin and save the trouble of importing.
As I said more information on exactly what you are doing is needed to answer this

Hi,
I use end of day data to draw my charts. Each day I have to manually update the database by reloading the files with the new information into the database. Is there a simpler way of doing this?
Thanks
